Who this policy covers

This policy is written for three groups of people, and it applies to all of them.

The first is anyone who visits technotize.io or reads our content. The second is anyone who contacts us, asks for a proposal, or subscribes to our updates. The third is our clients and their teams, whose information we handle to deliver the work. It also covers business contacts we reach out to about our services, which is explained in the section on information we collect.

Who we are

Technotize is a B2B SaaS SEO and content marketing agency, registered in the United States.

For the personal information you share through this website, Technotize LLC is the data controller, which means we decide why and how it is processed. There is a separate situation worth naming. When we process personal data inside a client's own systems as part of a paid engagement, for example their analytics or their CRM, the client is usually the controller and we act as a processor on their instructions, under our services agreement and data processing terms. This policy is about the data we control, not the data we process for clients under those contracts.

Our details are listed in full in the contact section at the end.

Information we collect

We collect three kinds of information, and the most important kind is the information you choose to give us.

Information you give us directly

This is the bulk of what we hold. It includes the contact and inquiry details you send when you use the contact form or email us: your name, your email, your company or website, your phone number if you choose to add it, and whatever you write in your message. If you subscribe to our updates or newsletter, it includes your email address. If you become a client, it includes the information we need to do the work, exchanged during onboarding and the engagement, which can include account access, business contacts, and the materials you share with us.

Information collected automatically

This is limited, and there is no tracking behind it. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard server log data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and the time of your request. This keeps the site running and secure. The site itself does not place cookies, and it does not run analytics or advertising trackers, which the next section covers in full.

Information we obtain for business development

As a B2B agency, part of our work is reaching the right companies. We may obtain professional contact details, such as a name, role, company, and work email, from public sources or business data providers, so we can reach out about services that may be relevant to your company. We process this under legitimate interest, every outreach message includes a clear way to opt out, and if you ask us to stop, we stop.

How we use your information

We use the information above for a short, defined set of reasons, and nothing beyond them.

We use it to respond to your inquiries and send the information or proposal you asked for, to deliver and improve the services we provide to clients, to send updates or service messages you have asked to receive, to operate and secure the website, to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to carry out the business development described above. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

If you are in the EU, the UK, or another region with similar rules, the law asks us to name a basis for each use of your data.

We rely on contract when we respond to your request and when we deliver services you or your company have engaged us for. We rely on consent when we send you our newsletter or marketing emails, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We rely on legitimate interests when we run, secure, and grow the business, including answering B2B inquiries and relevant outreach, weighed against your rights. And we rely on legal obligation when a law that applies to us requires the processing.

Cookies and tracking

This is short, because there is not much to say yet.

This website does not currently use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or advertising technologies. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites. If we add analytics or any cookie-based technology in the future, we will update this policy, explain plainly what is used and why, and present a consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set, where the law requires it.

How and when we share information

We share information sparingly, and only when there is a real need.

Service providers

We share information with a small set of providers that help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it to do their job. These include our website hosting provider, Lovable, and the email and communication tools we use to correspond with you. These providers are required to handle the data on our instructions and to protect it.

We may disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Technotize, our clients, or others.

Business transfers

If Technotize is ever part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will keep protecting it, and we will note any change of control where the law requires us to.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not rent your contact details to third parties.

International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and some of the providers we use are too.

If you are in the EU, the UK, or another region, the information you send us may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries whose data protection laws differ from your own. Where the law requires a safeguard for those transfers, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, we put one in place.

How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as there is a clear reason to keep it.

Inquiry and contact details are kept while we are in touch and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you come back to us. Client information is kept for the length of the engagement and the period our agreement and the law require, then deleted or anonymized. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. When none of these reasons apply, the data is removed.

How we protect your information

We take security seriously, and we are also honest about its limits.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including access controls and encryption in transit where appropriate. No website or system can promise perfect security, so we cannot guarantee absolute protection. What we can promise is that we work to keep the risk low and to act quickly if something goes wrong.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal information, and we honor them.

If you are in the EU or the UK

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in California

Under the CCPA and CPRA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing to opt out of, but the right still stands. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights

Making a request is simple, and it is free in most cases.

Email marketing@technotize.io with a short description of what you want. We may need to confirm your identity before we act, which keeps your data safe from someone pretending to be you. We respond within the time the law allows, usually within 30 days, and if we need longer we will tell you why.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are built for businesses, not for children.

We do not direct our site to anyone under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Our site and our content link out to other websites, including sources and the agencies we reference.

We do not control those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. When you follow a link, it is worth reading the privacy policy of the site you land on.

Changes to this policy

This policy will change over time, as our practices, our tools, or the law change.

When we update it, we revise the "last updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we make the update easy to notice. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
